Kähler is historically very well known and recognized for his ceramic characters. And that tradition takes artist Louise Hindsgavl with her into the work of the Moments of Being series, where she both draws threads back to the artistic story that Kähler is a part of and into the time we are in right now. With the figure Heavenly Grounded, Louise Hindsgavl manifests the feeling and moment where a woman is exactly the place in life she wants to be. The 22.5 cm tall porcelain figure shows a woman who raises an arm while she sits - almost lying - lung. Allapped. In balance. Anchored. Heavenly Grounded is a tribute to just her who has found peace and quiet with a situation. Her life or her changes. Heavenly Grounded symbolizes self -assurance and power - to stand firm, to be down to earth, to be exactly the place right for one self as a woman. Moments of Being is a series of three female sculptures that, in addition to Heavenly Grounded, consist of Beginning and Silent Change. All figures are shaped in white glazed, matte faience in a simple and classic design, where the rounded shapes are defining for each female figure.
