With the vase series Tulle, Kähler pays tribute to the nostalgia and romance with hand-painted decorations inspired by the older Kähler vases. The small tulle vase of 10 cm in height and 9.5 cm in diameter is hand-painted and created by hand. The vase has a creamy white bottom color and is painted with laces and spirals in a cobalt blue clay color that is subsequently glazed. The very neck of the vase is kept free of the blue brush strokes and is therefore simple and clean in its expression. The vase is created in a delicious authentic and artistic expression in a modern context in a small size, where, in turn, there has been playing extra depth and life through deep and full glazes originating in the old Kähler workshop. It is one of the most talented paint girls from that time, Tulle Emborg, who now gets the honor of naming the Tulle series. And you can both see and feel that there is a person behind who has made every effort to paint the vase in hand to create an expressive and vibrant expression. In the decorations you also clearly sense the artistic understanding and the intuitive movements that make the tulle vase a small work of art in itself and adds a very special nostalgic au-tenticity. The round shapes create a sculptural and graphic silhouette, so the vase can also easily stand alone without flowers as part of a romantic and modern décor.
